《從甲午之戰到抗戰勝利》展覽

　　今年為甲午之戰發生一百二十周年及中國抗日勝利七十周年前夕。　　

　　一百多年來，中華民族歷盡無數困難，克服重重考驗，尋找救國復興之路，教訓與啟示值得港人特別是年輕一代永誌不忘，深刻記取。

是次展覽由公民教育委員會、民政事務局、香港各界紀念抗日戰爭勝利七十周年活動籌委會以及香港各界文化促進會合辦，於香港柴灣柴灣道238號青年廣場7樓公民教育資源中心舉行《從甲午之戰到抗戰勝利》展覽，希望通過珍貴歷史圖片，文物及紀錄片，深刻展現甲午之戰與抗日戰爭的經過、影響與啟示。

展覽日期：2014年9月1日至12月31日


    This year marks the 120th anniversary of the First Sino-Japanese War and precedes the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese people's war of resistance against Japanese aggression.

    The Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education, the Home Affairs Bureau, the Hong Kong Organizing Committee for the Activities Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of Victory in the War of Resistance against Japan and the Hong Kong Culture Association jointly organise the "Exhibition Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of Victory in the War of Resistance against Japan" to enhance public's understanding of such history through a series of panels, photos, valuable exhibits and videos.  The exhibition is being held at the Civic Education Resource Centre, 7/F Youth Square, 238 Chai Wan Road, Chai Wan, Hong Kong until 31 December 2014.

Admission to the exhibition is free.  All are welcome.

「郵歷香江——從舊郵政總局大樓細味香港郵政歷史 (1911－1976)」巡迴展覽

　　「郵歷香江—從舊郵政總局大樓細味香港郵政歷史（1911－1976）」展覽在香港文物探知館剛完成展出。該展覽隨即在二○一四年九月至二○一五年年底移師至全港不同地點舉行，入場費用全免。

　　一九一一年，舊郵政總局大樓位處中區心臟地帶，當時郵政局的主要工作（包括櫃位服務和後勤郵件處理）都是在大樓內進行，前後超過六十年。展覽闡述本地郵政服務的歷史，並展示這座宏偉歷史建築物的建築特色。

　　巡迴展覽首先會在九月於香港國際機場和郵政總局郵展廊舉行。各場展覽的舉行時間可參考我們的網頁(http://www.hongkongpost.hk/chi/misc/2014/oldGpo/index.htm)。

　　香港郵政特地為是次展覽在今年四月出版珍貴郵票小冊子。小冊子載有舊郵政總局大樓的大量資料和相片，內容豐富，現於三十八間集郵局和香港郵政網上購物坊「樂滿郵」（www.shopthrupost.hk）發售，數量有限，售完即止。

　　"A Journey through Hong Kong’s Postal History – A Glimpse of Hong Kong’s Postal History through the Old GPO Building (1911 – 1976)" roving exhibition

    Following the staging of the exhibition “A Journey through Hong Kong’s Postal History - A Glimpse of Hong Kong’s Postal History through the Old General Post Office Building (1911 - 1976)” at the Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre recently, Hongkong Post is taking the exhibition to locations across the territory from September 2014 to late 2015.   Admission to the exhibition is free.

    Once standing at the heart of the Central District, the old General Post Office (GPO) building housed the main operations of the Post Office, including counter services and back-end mail processing functions, for over 60 years from 1911.  The exhibition chronicles the history of the local postal service and highlights the architectural features of this magnificent historic building.

    The roving exhibition will begin at the Hong Kong International Airport and the Postal Gallery of the General Post Office in September. The full exhibition schedule is available at our website (http://www.hongkongpost.hk/eng/misc/2014/oldGpo/index.htm).

    Hongkong Post published a prestige stamp booklet in April this year especially for the exhibition. Containing a wealth of information and photos concerning the old General Post Office building, the booklet is available for sale at the 38 Philatelic Offices and the Hongkong Post online shopping mall (www.shopthrupost.hk) while stocks last.

HTC Butterfly 2 香港發佈

　　HTC 2 日於香港正式發佈 Butterfly 2 旗艦級智能手機，其主打時尚美觀，針對年輕用家群組設計，帶有日系風格外型吸引用家，而且今代更加入防水防塵 IP55 / IP57 功能，令整體分數更高。同時，其沿用「 DUO Camera 」系統，以景深測量器配合 1,300 像素鏡頭，其系統與另一款旗艦機 M8 不同，鏡頭像素更高，輸出原圖相片尺吋更大，用家較易接受。

　　HTC Butterfly 2 以外觀設計為其中一個賣點，尺吋為 145.5 x 70.2 x 9.9mm ，重量為 151g ，外殼以亮面順滑的塑膠材質製造，分別提供鮮紅、純白及藍色給用家選擇。整體設計與上代相若，機面上下方配備喇叭，採用 JBL LiveStage 音效技術加強質素。

　　此外， Butterfly 2 採用 5 吋 SLCD 3 屏幕，支援 1920 x 1080 像素，以 Gorilla Glass 3 強化玻璃覆蓋表面，其 SLCD 3 制式讓畫質的色差準確，而且色彩還原度高，觀看時更為舒適。另外，支援 802.11a/ac/b/g/n 及 4G LTE 網絡，數據傳輸高效。


　　據 HTC 表示， Butterfly 2 建議零售價為 HK$5,498 ，即日起公開發售。
